Mission: To celebrate the diverse Culture, Art, and Music in Key West, and preserve the stories of Military Veterans and their families who have (and continue to) shape Key West: By honoring their collective service to society, safeguarding their legacies, ensuring their voices and actions are known, and providing educational opportunities to open the hearts and minds of all who visit physically or virtually.
Vision: We aspire to educate the public and future generations with knowledge and pride in Key West’s military and cultural heritage, and to serve as a bridge connecting people of all backgrounds through shared experiences. By continuously evolving and collaborating with local, national, and international partners, the Key West Cultural Center and Veterans Museum aims to set a standard for excellence in honoring veterans and promoting cultural awareness, ensuring their stories and traditions are celebrated for generations to come.

Because the venue also houses the Key West Cultural Center and Veterans Museum and serves as a historic community hub in Bahama Village, its facility availability varies significantly depending on local community initiatives, fundraisers, and special events.

From Bahama Village's earliest residents to the sailors, soldiers, and aviators who made Key West their home, our exhibits gather the photographs, letters, uniforms, and oral histories of the people who built this island's character. We share the stories of veterans and the families who supported them — woven together with the music, art, and traditions of Conch culture.
