The Key West Cultural Center and Veterans Museum is a community-driven initiative deeply intertwined with the historic William Weech American Legion Post 168 at 803 Emma Street. Financial Contributions
Direct funding is critical to establishing, operating, and maintaining the center's exhibits and community programming.
Donate via the Community Foundation: Supported by the Community Foundation of the Florida Keys. Secure, tax-deductible financial contributions can be made directly to the Key West Cultural Center and Veterans Museum Fund.
Corporate Sponsorships: Businesses can also help sustain the organization and keep it's mission alive by donating each year as a Sustaining Sponsor. Donations are also needed for specific physical exhibits, historical displays, or educational initiatives to provide stable foundational funding.
Preserving History & Artifacts
A museum relies heavily on authentic local narratives and physical history to connect past and future generations.
Share Veterans' Stories: Families of local military personnel are encouraged to contribute oral histories, photographs, letters, and documentation that chronicle the lives and services of Key West veterans.
Donate Historical Artifacts: Donating period-accurate military uniforms, medals, equipment, or cultural memorabilia helps expand physical collections.
